I want to thank everybody for there awesome responses regarding the birthmother search. I read them all and am going to really think and pray about this. I will keep you updated.
During our adoption I always knew I would feel called to Guatemala forever. I had visions of going back and doing mission work and giving back. I do plan on doing that someday .. but for now I have been called to helping the Hispanics in our area and what a mission that is. You can never imagine what is in your own backyard until you look.... and you don't have to look far. I have seen that same desperate look that I never thought I would see again after I left Guat. I laugh though 'cause my bad spanish doesn't get me to far !! .... Anyways my point is that I have been so blessed by these people and in a way feel like it is very healing (after "seeing what I saw" in Guatemala) to try and give back to the culture. The adoption of the twins has a greater purpose and I am excited .... watching it unfold.
Now on to the silly twinsies.

what a great idea - good luck!
They are getting so big, love the french braid. what is it about kids and bags?? :)
You are an inspiration to me!
I love the french braid , Sky wouldn't let me fool with her hair long enough for me to get it right.
Brayden telling you off is pretty darn funny, sorry:)
Katie you are IT!!! Check my blog for the details.
Gia got VERY upset when she saw the picture of Arianna's french braid. Like I said before, she ALWAYS looks like she is up to something and Brayden reminds me alot of my Nino, a gentle little guy.
So true about not having to look too far...we have a great Hispanic ministry in our area too...just became involved since our kiddos! I'm with you too in that I feel as though part of my heart is in Guatemala!!!
Our girls love bags too! Cute, cute pictures! :)
So cute! I never tire of seeing pictures of your twinsies. :)
Great job on the braid! It is a sign of growing up...
THe bag lady picture......that's cute!!! I remember the days my girls played dress up.
I too am working on giving back. Still working on whta that will be. Right now, Safe Passage and Mayan families seem to be my focus.
Good luck!
Katie,
Brayden and Yael look just alike! That is amazing.
I love the French braid, but you simply must not do that because she looks too grown up. ;-) She must stay a baby as long as possible. :-)
I'm very happy you have found a way to do local ministry to Hispanics. I might have to call you (on the phone) on that one.
Love,
Julie
Can't wait to see where your new mission takes you.
Love the pics!
