***POOL PARTY***

Today was my first solo trip to the pool with the kids. The older kids loved it of course. As far as the babies - Brayden loved it but Arianna wanted to watch but not go in. I decided that my rule for the babies is that as soon as we get near a pool they have top have there lifejackets on. I know that they are huge and uncomfortable but it is the only way that I can go with two babies.

I know Barney is outdated and kinda old fashioned -- try tell the babies that !! It all started in Guatemala when Barney was the only movie we had for them in English and the rest in history. Now that we are back I try to get them interested in Dora and Diego ('cause they kinda look like them :) but NO -- only Barney. Did you know that our favorite store Target has no Barney toys and a VERY limited selection of movies - same with Walmart. I think Barney is heading for extinction. :)

Talking the talk

Arianna learned how to say a very important word today ...................

LOL -- Good thing -- because its her moms favorite store !!! If the babies are crabby I pack them up and we go to Target and then we are all happy !!!

These pictures are after the babies woke up from there nap. Arianna woke up first and was not happy that Brayden was still sleeping. So for the next hour while Brayden slept she whined and was very clingy (she is normally very independent). These pictures are after Brayden woke up -- Arianna is happy now. At times it seems that they dont even notice each other .... but my Dad had a good point -- he said that they are probably like each others bodyparts and don't really think anything of it until one is missing . The bond between them is incredible and seems to be growing stronger by the day. They do not share with other kids but they are ALWAYS giving to each other. It really is incredible to watch them !!! :)

Sisterly Love and Update

Here she is !!

Just decided to write a short update on our lives. The two older kids are awesome as usual. They are my smarties !! Living in Guatemala for 7 months and homeschooling (or trying to) didn't even bring them behind academically. Not to mention the EXTREME culture shock they felt moving back to the US . The babies are just pure joy as always. They are starting to talk more - Brayden now calls Arianna "ditde" ( for sistie/sister) !! cute!! Speaking of "sister love"-- Arianna doesn't even want me in the morning when she wakes up .... she wants her big sister !! :) I have started introducing them to "potty" - we will see how that goes. Not that I want them to grow up - but there diapers are NASTY . As for me .... my hubby thinks I am crazy .... I am ready to start the process again !! He says not right now --we have 15 month old twins !! :) So we will probably wait until they are 2 to start the process again .
