Finally Better

Oh thank Goodness Arianna is finally better and can stop the darn albeterol. I have a love/hate relationship with that med. I helps quickly but boy oh boy it took my daughter away and gave me a MONSTER for 2 days.!!! She even developed this crazy annoying laugh while on the med--it was hilarious. Well it wasn't that funny when she started it at 5 am this morning. I could tell that even layed back KIKI (Brayden) was losing his patience with his crazy drugged up sister.

Rough Day

Wow-- today has been rough for the twins. It started out yesterday with Arianna having a allergy attack. Now today her attack progressed to full blown wheezing. So that resulted in a trip to the doctor and a perscription for steriods . Steriods = serious hyperness which means Brayden has taken alot of beatings from her today. As sweet as Arianna is ,when she is sick she gets very aggressive !!

This is how they finally fell asleep :)



Maybe tomorrow will be better !!!!

One thing that is so important yet so simple (that I need to remember to do more of) is PRAISE MY KIDS . At such a young age they seek out our approval . All they need to hear "good job" and they are happy . Some vocalize the need to hear it all the time . In my case its both of my boys . Especially Brayden .... all day he is saying "watch mom" . And I just need to take that second out of my day to say good job. Its simple but means so much to them. (although after the 20th time today , I wonder if its still necessary :) or after taylor has wacked my ankle for the 20th time while I am watching his skateboard tricks :) In those moments I do wonder if there is a limit of times we have to say it in a day -- what do you think -- LOL !!!

Angelika finally got a perm -- she is so excited and I think it looks so cute !! Remember your first perm !!?? Mine was done in the 80's and it was horrible ... I looked like I was electocuted !!

So today I brought the twins to to get some munchkins. They are usually a favorite for both of them . Well not today. A few months ago I brought them there and Brayden was eating his and suddenly told me "mom ...CHOKE" . He thought he was choking so he panicked. Well today was the first time I had been there since then so I was kinda wondering if Brayden would remember ... thinking probably not . So I offered him one and at first he said "Shh -- nigh nigh " and went on to pretend he was sleeping. Then the second time he said "No - I choke. It is just amazing how much they really do remember !!!!
