Mission

FAVORITE PICS Interesting way to build a house

This is as traditional Mayan as it gets ... they even cover there head in this area

Guatemala City dump from the airplane

Eating with friends at Casa Santa Domingo . There was a earthquake while they were here

This sign was put up after the earthquake :)

Some of the kids that come to Homers everyday for food and education

These little boys walk over the river everyday to Homers house to get food 'cause there dad is in a wheelchair. Look at those eyes :(

When the plane landed they had police waiting because word had spread in the village that gringos were coming . The police had to make sure they didn't have drugs.

A school they stopped at

So cute

Love these boys .... so handsome !!

Mark and a few other guys from Church went to this village to prepare for a June mission trip.

Great pictures. Kind of chuckled at the cops and drug search:>)

We toured the city dump when we were on our pick up trip. The founder, who is from ME died two months prior to us going. We had hoped to meet her. It was really very sad to see.
