If this doesn't tug at your heartstrings .......

One of my friends is a full time missionary in Zacapa, Guatemala and the areas around it. He posts pictures of his life there from time to time .So I made this montage of his pictures to share with you all :) Everytime I see a new picture something happens in my heart. It is a amazing thing .... it is like my heart skips a beat and I am filled with emotion. A part of me wants to run down there and never come back and the other part of me is scared to death to go because of the intense emotion I know I will feel. But I rest in the peace knowing that God will show me when it is the time to go.

Oh goodness Katie - that is absolutely how I feel when I think of Guate or see photos. My heart will always be in Guatemala, even when my kids are home. Thank you so much for sharing and tell your friend God bless him for taking care of the kids we cannot. Much love - Bamagirl!!

What a beautiful video. If I could come up with the money I would go with you in a heartbeat. I would love to do a Mission trip in Guatemala. Keep me posted if you plan on doing something.

I think that pulls at all of our hearts because we all have a connections to Guatemala. I too want to go to Guatemala on a mission trip one day. And like you I know the Lord will let me know when the right time is for me to go. Thanks for posting this. It reminds me just how much we do need to pray for our missionaries in Guatemala and all over the world.
