FYI - Confused

I am not sure if this is new info to anyone else but it is to me so I will pass it on. When we were at the beach my sister plugged in her brand new Nikon digital camera to the computer with the USB cord and suddenly she heard a "pop" and her camera went dead. Today she went to Curcuit City where she bought the camera and they said the only way Nikon will replace it is if you don't tell them that you plugged it in to the computer. I guess thats a big no no !!?? I did not know this ...... why do they give the USB cord then ???? I guess they said you can buy a card that is USB reader.

I have never heard of such a thing. What's the point of having a digital camera if you can't plug it right into your computer. Note to self - don't get a Nikon!

(and the twins are so cute - I love the latin lips!!!!)

I haven't heard of this either but I have a card reader an image mate 12 in one. It is great and can read different size cards. My camera, my camcorder, my child's camera and my mother's camera all use different cards so it is nice to have one downloadable unit to get all the pics. It also works opposite too.
