DEDICATED TO MATTHEW SHANE

My brother and his wife adopted Matthew (domestic) in April . They originally had put there paperwork in to adopt a baby girl from China. But then one day they got a call for a domestic situation which was twin boys. They waited out the bmoms pregnancy and then a week before her due date she backed out. They were devastated. One week later they got a call about Matthew . They literally had one day to pack and fly out to get him. It was such a God thing because before they left to get him they decided that they were going to name him Shane . Well when they got there they found out his bmom had named him Matthew Shane - so they kept that. He was actually with this Bmom until they adopted him (the first 15 months) she had realized that she could no longer care for him --so he is having some major attachment issues but slowly getting better. We couldn't love him more and we are so glad that God chose him to be in our family .
